Frenetic Fox is a Dorset based theatre company which creates original work which strives to be daring, dynamic and distinctive. This work is developed in a collaborative, devised fashion.
Drawing from personal experiences growing up in a world saturated by online networking, political injustice and irresponsible media, we explore themes of provocation.
Incorporating original music along with imaginative visual elements and the spoken word - Frenetic Fox develops theatre which reflects the modern appetite for storytelling in a world where Netflix rules the roost.
Our engagement work focuses on collaboration with members of the LGBTQI+ community, adults with additional needs (learning disability) and the elderly (specifically those living with dementia 65+).
Frenetic Fox commenced a year-long, part-time residency for the LEAP Project (Local Emerging Artists Platform) at Weymouth College in Dorset (September 2016). The residency allows for select alumni to develop new work utilising the departmental resources.
Within this time-frame the company developed the debut show 'Appily Ever After'.
Both 'Sub' and 'Beside The Sea' have been kindly supported by Activate Performing Arts - a Dorset outfit presenting, promoting and producing outdoor and performing arts for Dorset, Bournemouth & Poole.
